With FIFA 22 beginning to wind down, attention is turning to what EA Sports has in store for FIFA 23. Fans have lofty expectations for the follow-up after the publisher promised to make the best FIFA game yet before the series is rebranded as EA Sports FC.
New Teams
We’ve already touched previously on some of the new team nations that will be featured in FIFA 23. Although, it also appears that there will be some new clubs to play with in domestic competition as well.
Here are the new teams expected to be featured in FIFA 23:

Bayern Munich side with eFootball
Konami has confirmed that Bayern Munich have extended their partnership with eFootball, with the German champions continuing to have their stadium and full squad face-scans EXCLUSIVE to eFootball.
This news will no doubt be a blow to EA Sports and FIFA fans, with hopes of seeing the mighty Allianz Arena return in FIFA 23 completely dashed.
FIFA 23 new leagues
FIFA 23 will mark the debut of a number of leagues that have never featured in the series before, most notably from the world of women’s football. International squads were first added way back in FIFA 16, but the women’s game hasn’t been expanded on in any game since.
EA is clearly looking to change that in FIFA 23 as domestic women’s leagues will be playable for the very first time.
Here’s every new league we know about in FIFA 23:
FA Women’s Super League (England)
National Women’s Soccer League (USA)
Frauen-Bundesliga (Germany)
Division 1 Féminine (France)
Vanarama National League (England)
While players will be excited at the new playable leagues, unfortunately, both the J-League and Liga BBVA MX will be leaving this year, after Konami secured their licenses for eFootball.
New Stadiums
FIFA 22 featured a number of licensed stadiums, including the iconic Old Trafford, home to storied English side, Manchester United. As well as the largest stadium in the world, Estadio Azteca, which is home to Mexican clubs, Club America and Cruz Azul.
However, the game was also without a few of the most renowned stadiums in soccer. So, here are the new stadiums that have been confirmed for FIFA 23:
Spotify Camp Nou (FC Barcelona)Allianz Arena (FC Bayern)Allianz Stadium (Juventus)Stadio Olimpico (Rome / Lazio)City Ground Stadium (Nottingham Forest)
